The St. John The Evangelist Council #8392 is located next to St. John The Evangelist Church in Jackson Michigan at 711 N. Francis Street. The Grand Knight for 2006-2007 is Tom Miskowski.
Meeting Times and
location
Our Council meets the second
Tuesday of every month in the Parish center. We precede each of our meetings
with a rosary at 7pm and begin the actual meeting promptly at 7:30pm.
A little about us
St. John the Evangelist
Council was founded in 1983 through the efforts of a small group of men who
wanted to start their own council at St. Johns. Our Council works closely
with St. John The Evangelist Parish in Jackson, providing funds for various
projects and groups. Our members are active participants in the parish as
lectors, Eucharist Ministers, choir and ushers. They work with the youth of
our parish by supporting the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts. Members of our
council are also active in the community, providing transportation for the
Jackson Area Catholic Special Religious Education program. For a schedule of
